Paul, it's Paul here in Chicago. Do you know what kind of coating they used on the dashboards? Specificaly the '84. I have one i fixed up, but need to have it coated. I don't want to just shoot some spray paint on it and have it go to hell from being in the sun. Thanks,

paul

Well done on your efforts so far, you are in inspiration to those of us perhaps lagging in motivation ! Look forward to the next installment on your restoration journey!

Hi Jeff,
Great to hear from you and welcome back ! I still have fond memories of Louisville....especially when you kicked me out of your Aero over the crash rail before you headed out into night....it's a great rig to fall out of.
I'm going back to England in a couple of hours for Xmas, I'll be back on the 4th Jan - let's catch up then.
Happy Holidays !

Hi Ryan,
I was lucky to get an NOS one a while ago. They were originally made by Red Dot and there are several companies that make aftermarket evaporators. Here in California I buy my heater and ac cores through Fleetpride.
Chances are you'll have to identify it by dimensions and inlet pipe locations rather than by a part number. Do you have your original as a sample ?
Paul.

Paul, I had no idea that you are in california... I live over here in Perris just south of riverside, is there a way that I can get ahold of you and see your rig in person, I would love to talk to you and check out the stuff you have done. Hopefully one of these days I can go as far as you have gone when I do mine. I have been on this site for about 4 years and have watched and wondered about your project, I love the work and integrtity of what you have been doing and have wanted to see it since I first saw the start of the tear down but I had no idea all this time that you were in so. cal. Great job, let me know if it would be possible to come over one of these days. Jeff
